Ebnöther – Elotex – Enorex – Collano – nolax – VANORA

In 1950’s Dr. Marcel Ebnoether started to polymerise resins for PVAC glue. There were some interesting applications
in paint, varnish and construction industries added to the portfolio.

With over 60 years of experience in the formulation and development of resins for the paint and coatings industry, the team brings exceptional high-performance products and "by design" solutions to market. The dynamic and intelligent VANORA team knows the market requirements and is extremely strong in the implementation of creative solutions.

Vanora AG becomes an independent company and is no longer in the Collano Group.
Vanora AG is a private company and Peter Tresch is the owner.

 

The Collano Group steps into the background to create latitude for its three operationally independent
companies: nolax AG, Collano Adhesives AG and Emerell.

A decision is made to launch VANORA business unit to focus more on the paints and coatings market.

 

A reorganization. The Collano Group operates with three independent companies in the market - nolax AG, Collano Adhesives AG and Emerell AG. The binder activities are integrated at nolax AG.

There is a generation change; Stefan Leumann becomes the new CEO.

 

Name change of the company. Ebnoether becomes Collano AG. Resins are re-branded into Collano.

Ebnöther sells Elotex powder applications to National Starch. The aqueous resins remained under the name of
Enorex.

 

Elotex AG is integrated into Ebnöther AG.
